About SimCity SimCity (2013) is the upcoming city building and simulation computer game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It is the 6th major title in the SimCity franchise. Closed Beta 1 ran from Janurary 25th to Janurary 28th. Closed Beta 2 ran from February 16 to February 17. SimCity will officially release on March 5th 2013 in United States and March 8th in Europe for Microsoft Windows. Mac version will release in Spring 2013, sometime after the PC release.
