Trade Port allows the player to import, export and store large quantities of resources. It should be constructed near water for cargo ship access or railway for freight train connection. Even if your city does not have port access or rail connection, Trade Port can still be used as a giant storage lot with delivery trucks as methods of transportation. 6 storage lots of various types can be constructed. While visually identical, these storage lots can hold far more resources than their Trade Depot equivalents. To unlock each storage lot, corresponding commodity HQ with Commerce Division must be constructed.
- To unlock the processors storage lot, Electronics HQ with Commerce Division must be completed.
Trade Port is an integral component of a Trading specialized city. It can also be used to store resources for the construction of a Great Works project.
