Education reduces crime, ground pollution, fire risk, waste and sickness. Educated Sims are more likely to recycle and consume less water and power. Although schools generate no revenue, they increase the happiness and education levels of your residence. Educated Sims increase the tech levels of your industrial buildings.

Cities can specialize in Education and attract students from other cities in the region.

Great Works such as the Space Center and Solar Farm require various education structures and upgrades.

High school provides a higher level of education than elementary school.

Community College

Community college provides a higher level of education than high school.

Education from community college allows Sims to work in higher wealth and tech industries such as the Electronics industry.

University

University allows the player to carry out various research projects that will benefit the city and region by unlocking new technologies.

Public Library

Public library is a place where all Sims can go and increase their level of education.

Unlike other educational structures, public library accepts Sims from all ages and walks of life.
