Planes

Municipal Airport

Planes and Airships transport medium and high wealth tourists into and out of the city. Planes can also carry freight out of the city, but only by use of the Cargo Terminal module. Planes only spawn in tourists from outside the region or carry freight out of the region; they don't carry sims or freight between cities. Airships can carry shoppers, workers, and tourists between cities, but only between those which have connections by road, rail, or water (regardless of if these connections are utilized or not). Neither planes nor airships create the type of connection that would allow gifting of simoleons and/or resources between cities not already connected by road, rail, or water.
