Cities specialized in Mining extract ore and coal for profit. Coal and ore mines must be constructed directly above the mineral deposits. Extracted ore and coal can be exported on the Global Market for immediate profit. Coal can be used to power
- Natural resources such as ore, coal and oil are finite in a region
- Be sure to inspect the resource deposits to find where the coal and ore deposits are before you claim your city and zone your districts.
As the player advance his or her Mining business, the player can dig up larger quantities of coal and ore.
Ore and coal extracted from the ground can be processed into more valuable resources such as metal and alloy.
- More money can be made if the player builds a smelting factory to convert the minerals into metal and alloy.
Mining also known as Metals is one of the big business specializations with its own global leaderboard.
