Simoleon

Simoleon (§) is the currency of SimCity.

All roads and most ploppables cost simoleons to construct. Some ploppables cost simoleons to maintain.

Simoleons are generated through tax revenues, sale of commodities on the Global Market and provision of services to neighboring cities in the region.

• Casinos, expo centers and other entertainment structures also generate simoleons.

Players can purchase bonds to generate a large amount of simoleons quickly.

• Bonds along with incurred interest have to be paid back over time.
