Mining

Cities specialized in Mining extract ore and coal for profit. Coal and Ore Mines must be constructed directly above the mineral deposits. Extracted ore and coal can be exported to the Global Market for immediate profit. Coal Power Plant burns coal to generate power. A Smelting Factory can be constructed to process ore and coal into metal and alloy, more valuable resources.
- Natural resources such as ore, coal and oil are finite in a region
- Be sure to inspect the cities' resource stats and resource data maps to find where the coal and ore deposits are before you claim your city and zone your districts.
Mining also known as Metals is one of the big business specializations with its own global leaderboard.
