Be sure to construct [[Coal Power Plant|coal]] and [[Oil Power Plant|oil power plant]]s and level 1 tech industrial buildings at the edge of your city, in the direction of the blue arrows. Avoid placing your residential [[zone]]s downwind from your industrial [[zones]].
Your wind power plants will generate more power at higher wind speed. Wind speeds of a city is predetermined. [[Cities]] or parts of cities with higher elevation will generally experience higher wind speed.
