Trade Depot allows the player to store, import and export resources. Before the player can import and export [[commodities]] from the [[Global Market]], the appropriate [[#Storage Lots|storage lotmodule]] must be built.
When the player has an excess of resources, they will automatically go to the Trade Depot.
