To remedy the problem, a Garbage Dump should be constructed away from your residential and commercial zones. Later on, a Recycling Center should be constructed to reduce the amount of waste your city produces. Recycling also recovers valuable commodities such as metal, plastic and alloy. Educated Sims are more likely to recycle.

Garbage dump summons garbage trucks to go around and collect the city's waste, and drops it off at the dump.

Recycling Center

Recycling center is an expensive structure that removes some trash without generating ground pollution.
