Garbage Dump
Recycling Center

Sims produce waste.

If waste is not properly disposed of, incidents of fires, sickness and injuries will increase.

  • It will also decrease the overall land value of the city.

Waste disposal can be remedied by building a garbage dump.

Recycling is another option.

  • Recycling is not only good for the environment but also recovers resources such as metal, plastic and alloy.

Waste Disposal Structures

Garbage Dump

Main article: Garbage Dump

Garbage dump summons garbage trucks to go around and collect the city's waste, and drops it off at the dump.

  • It will lower the land value of nearby areas.

Garbage dump generates a large amount of ground pollution.

  • It is wise to build the garbage dump far away from your residential and other "clean" areas such as the Water Tower.

Recycling Center

Main article: Recycling Center

Recycling center is an expensive structure that removes some trash without generating ground pollution.

  • It also recovers resources such as metal, plastic and alloy.
