Ground Pollution is the result of unclean industry, sewage, and garbage practices within your city. Ground pollution accumulates over time, and can cause sickness in buildings over top of it, as well as polluting your water table.

Buildings that cause ground pollution:

  • Industrial Buildings (Yes even the clean looking high tech ones)
  • Oil Well
  • Coal Mine
  • Ore Mine
  • Garbage Dumps Cause ground pollution if you bulldoze a dump site that has garbage in it.

Cleaning up

To remove ground pollution you have 2 options:

  • Wait. If you remove the source buildings the ground pollution will go away on its own slowly over time.
  • Plant Trees
  • Nature Parks
