description When placed along a shoreline, the Ferry Terminal provides a dock for commuters to travel by passenger ferry. Improve it by adding Cruise Ship Docks or additional Passenger Ferry Docks. 


The Ferry Terminal acts as a dock that transports low- and medium-wealth Sims and medium and high wealth tourists into and out of the city. The Ferry Terminal comes with a Passenger Ferry Dock, and it can be augmented with a Cruise Ship Dock. The Cruise Ship Dock accepts medium and high wealth tourists into your city while the Passenger Ferry Dock transports low and medium wealth commuters between various cities in region.

  • A Ferry Terminal can only be constructed on a shoreline.

The Passenger Ferry Dock transports low and medium wealth Sims between cities in region. Note, you must have a ferry dock in at least two cities for any passengers to arrive.
