Trade Depot allows the player to store, import and export [[commodities]] and freight shipments. Before the player can import and export commodities from the [[Global Market]], the appropriate [[#Storage Lots|storage lot module]] must be built. Trade Depot accepts deliveries from local industries, the Global Market and neighboring cities.
*When the player has an excess of resources, they will automatically go to the Trade Depot. If the player lacks a Trade Depot, excess resources will be stored by the buildings that produce them.
