As the player advance his or her Mining business, the player can dig up larger quantities of coal and ore.

 

*More money can be made if the player builds a [[#Smelting Factory|smelting factory]] to convert the minerals into metal and alloy.

Mining also known as Metals is one of the [[City Specializations#big businesses|big business]] [[City Specializations|specializations]] with its own global [[leaderboards|leaderboard]].
