SimCity 5 (2013) Game Information
Main Article: SimCity (2013 game)
Nearly 24 years to the day the original SimCity Game was released in 1989, and the computers improved, Maxis and Electronic Arts released the SimCity 5 game on March 24, 2013. With Mixed Reviews, the game was in the middle. The game devolopers evolved the game through patches and updates to the beauty it is today.
What is SimCity 5?
In the ever popular simulation leagues of software, SimCity 5 mimics being the responsibilities that come with mayorship. And it becomes more realistic when it occurs that we are in the Golden Age of Software, where engines can amost perfectly preform a task in High Definiton (HD). SimCity took advantage of that when it used the Glassbox Engine, which modeled gameplay in not regular sized pixels, but 1/125 the size of a pixel, and it also used a larger information slot (Today's computers have more RAM, thus more space) to accurately model numerical data in a literal sense.
Where is it available?
As of 2017, if you have a computer, and the internet, you can go to their United States Official Page and download it for $30 (Can$34.99), and begin playing it anywhere!
