Wind affects not only the spread and concentration of air pollution but also the amount of power your Wind Power Plants can generate.
Air pollution moves with the wind. Wind Data Map will show the direction of wind flow with blue arrows.
- Air pollution is an important source of unhappiness for you Sims. Be sure to construct coal and [Oil Power Plant|oil power plant]]s and level 1 tech industrial buildings at the edge of your city, in the direction of the blue arrows.
Your wind power plants will generate more power at higher wind speed. Wind speeds of a city is predetermined. Cities or parts of cities with higher elevation will generally experience higher wind speed.
